WILTSHIRE TRACTOR EVENT WILL CELEBRATE THE BLUE CENTURY!
1st April 2017
It’s definite! Bank Holiday Monday, 1 May, will see a sensational gathering of tractors to celebrate a century of Ford and New Holland. Taking place at Rowde, just a couple of miles from the T H WHITE Group Office, the event is expected to showcase many memorable tractor models.
Co-ordinated with help from the Big Ford Tractor Register and hosted by kind permission of A J Butler, the gathering is supported by T H WHITE and New Holland, as well as the Devizes and Malmesbury Young Farmers Club, and is being planned as a super day out for the whole family. Alongside ploughing and cultivation demonstrations there will be vintage and classic tractor working areas, while the Tractor Ted bouncy castle will be in attendance with balloons and stickers for the kids. Food stalls will also be on site.
The event will raise funds for charity, with collections during the day for the Dorothy House Hospice, Julia’s House Children’s Hospices and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.
Many classic tractors are already promised, but we are still looking for more. If you have a tractor you would like to bring along, all you have to do is register it by emailing the details to plm@thwhite.co.uk, or by searching on Facebook for ‘Century of Ford & New Holland’. We are aiming to make this one of the biggest gatherings of its type and all models will be welcome – Fordson, Ford, New Holland and Ford conversions, so please do take part if you can.
When: Monday 1 May, 10am-3pm
